PakujWiatr and Mondi Group Launch Recycled Packaging Line Across Central Europe

Warsaw, November 1, 2025 — In a landmark move for sustainable packaging, PakujWiatr and Mondi Group have announced the launch of a new recycled packaging line, set to transform the packaging landscape across Central Europe. This strategic partnership brings together PakujWiatr’s regional expertise and Mondi Group’s global leadership in sustainable materials, aiming to deliver innovative, eco-friendly solutions to clients in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, and beyond.

The new line, developed at PakujWiatr’s state-of-the-art facility in Warsaw, utilizes advanced recycling technology provided by Mondi Group. The process enables the conversion of post-consumer and post-industrial plastics into high-quality packaging materials, significantly reducing the carbon footprint and supporting a circular economy. The packaging is designed for a wide range of industries, including food, retail, and e-commerce, meeting the highest standards of durability and safety.

“This partnership marks a pivotal step in our mission to lead the packaging industry towards a greener future. By combining our local market knowledge with Mondi’s cutting-edge technology, we are able to offer clients packaging that is not only functional and attractive, but also truly sustainable,” said Anna Kowalska, Sustainability Director at PakujWiatr.

The collaboration is expected to deliver substantial environmental benefits. According to internal projections, the recycled packaging line will divert over 10,000 tons of plastic waste from landfills annually, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 30% compared to conventional packaging. The initiative also supports the European Union’s Green Deal objectives and aligns with growing consumer demand for responsible packaging.

“At Mondi, we are committed to making packaging sustainable by design. Our partnership with PakujWiatr demonstrates how industry leaders can work together to drive real change and create value for both customers and the environment,” commented Markus Gärtner, CEO of Mondi Flexible Packaging.

The launch event, held at PakujWiatr’s Warsaw headquarters, was attended by key stakeholders, clients, and environmental organizations. Demonstrations showcased the new packaging’s strength, flexibility, and recyclability, with live feedback from clients highlighting its market potential.

Both companies have pledged ongoing investment in research and development to further enhance the sustainability and performance of their packaging solutions. Clients across Central Europe can now access a full suite of recycled packaging options, supported by expert consultation and logistics services.

The PakujWiatr and Mondi Group partnership sets a new benchmark for the industry, proving that collaboration and innovation are essential to building a more sustainable future.
